What a JamCast sign does.
JamCast runs 24 apps today, from NFL scores to a moon phase. You put them in playlists, set how long each one stays up, and schedule playlists across the week. Everything is managed in the web app; the sign does the rest.
24 apps, ready now.
Each app has its own settings: your teams, your stock symbols, your city, your message. Catalog checked 2026-10-18.

Playlists put your apps in order.
A playlist is a list of apps, each with its own settings and on-screen time. Turn looping on, give the playlist its own brightness, and reuse it on every sign you own.

Schedules decide what runs when.
Attach playlists to a sign by time window, by day of the week, or for one specific date. Give a schedule a priority and it wins any overlap; give it a brightness and the sign follows.
How fresh the numbers are.
Default refresh intervals, straight from each app's settings in the JamCast backend.
| App | Refreshes every |
|---|---|
| Stock Ticker | 30 seconds |
| Crypto Prices | 1 minute |
| Weather alerts and current conditions | 5 minutes |
| NFL, college football, NBA, WNBA, MLB and NHL games | 15 minutes |
| 5-day forecast | 30 minutes |
The details that make it a sign, not a screen.
- Brightness and scroll speed
- Set brightness for the whole sign, then override it per playlist or per schedule. Scroll speed is a per-sign setting.
- Built for long signs
- On two panels or more, apps join into one scrolling ticker. Each app is measured to the LED at render time, so the gap between apps stays even.
- Preview before it goes up
- The web app draws your sign with the same renderer the sign runs. What the preview shows is what the LEDs show.
- Updates over the air
- Signs check for software updates once a day and keep a backup of the previous version when they install one.
- Many signs, one account
- Claim as many signs as you like. Each has its own name, settings and schedules, and they can share playlists.
- Your own words
- Free Text puts any message on the sign in the color you choose: a birthday, a house rule, a trash-talk line for your league.
